UBC Faculty of Medicine Town Hall: Strategic Planning in Global Health

The Faculty of Medicine, UBC is drawing up a strategic plan for Global Health. We would like to invite you to participate and will use this town hall to hear your thoughts and get your input into this plan. UBC undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty are all invited to participate. And we encourage you to invite others who you think may be interested.

At the Town Hall we will be exploring the following questions:

  • Should the UBC Faculty of Medicine be a world leader in global health training, research and practice?
  • Are you or do you plan to be engaged in global health?
  • Could the Faculty of Medicine better support your engagement in Global Health? How?

We also want to hear from you and document your thoughts regarding:

  • Curriculum and course development
  • Undergraduate, postgraduate, and graduate training and placements
  • Global health research
  • Knowledge translation, dissemination, and advocacy
